We are a thriving community of like-minded people that love boating and being by the water.  Our members enjoy one of the best maintained marinas in the North Bay. Here are just a few of the amenities available to members.

·      Recently complete dredging of the harbor, October 2025 (to 10ft MLW)

·      All our docks have been rebuilt in the last 3 years.

·      Plenty of berths for deep draft boats.

·      Slip available from 30 to 50 feet.

·      For the sailboat racer we have Wednesday night beer can racing from April to October.

·      Work area for members to do minor repairs on their boats.

·      6,000 lb capacity crane to launch boats and perform maintenance.

·      Our club house is always open with a water view bar to relax in.

MEMBERSHIP AND BERTHING PROCESS

·      Become a club member isn’t hard, in fact it is easy.

·      Call the office at 707.643.1254 and simply say you are interested in becoming a member. Better yet stop by on a Friday and announce your interest.

·      Fill out an application and take a tour of the club house and marina.

·      Pay your first three month of dues.

·      Our membership committee will interview you and answer any questions.

·      During the interview the process of bringing a boat into the harbor will be explained.

·      Here are a few items you will need to provide.

·      If you are moving your boat in from another marina, we will need to see that you are leaving in good standing. This is usually done with your most recent billing statement.

·      Proof of insurance showing at least $300,000 in liability insurance.

·      Proof of ownership.

·      All boats must enter the harbor under their own power. Not under tow.

·      Our harbor master will help you select the best slip for your boat and planned use.

THE ECONOMICS

Vallejo Yacht Club operates as a mutual interest non-profit. We share the cost of operating a marina equally. We are a 501 c7,  so dues and berthing costs are not tax deductible. There is no profit, we only cover expenses.

You must be a member of the club to berth a boat in our harbor. Monthly membership dues are $85.00 per month. When you apply for membership the 1st three months are due upon application. Slip fees are the greater of $12.00 per foot of dock or $12.00 per foot of vessel overall length. Going forward, membership dues and berthing fees are due on the first of each month. By way of example, assume you have a 30-foot boat, your monthly expenses, not including insurance, taxes, or other personal expenses like drinks and meals at the club. As with any business, we from time to time need to adjust our fees.
