Boat Available for Members
Each year our marina becomes the owner of a few boats that members can no longer keep. Every situation is unique, but it often happens when a member’s health declines or their employment circumstances change.
All boats are sold as is, with no implied warranty. Buyers are solely responsible for evaluating the condition of any vessel. If you purchase a boat, you will also be responsible for slip fees of $12.00 per foot per month. The shortest slip we have is 30 ft. Please check with the Club Office at 707.643.1254 for the exact monthly berthing cost and to arrange looking at the boat. All boats in our harbor are required to carry $300,000 in liability insurance and must establish clean title.
We currently have several vessels available, which will be offered exclusively to members for the next 30 days. After May 1st, any boats not purchased by a club member will be made available to the public.
If you are interested in a listed boat, please contact the Club Office at 707.643.1254 for its location. In most cases, boats are unlocked and open for inspection during reasonable hours.
Please note that all available boats require some work to restore them to usable condition. You will need to obtain current Coast Guard-required safety equipment before operating any vessel. Many members purchase their gear online (for example, through Amazon). We also recommend consulting with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary to confirm safety requirements.
Current Available Boats
Cheoylee 35 sailboat, CF 3791 FX, this is a 1969 boat that has been in the harbor for at least a decade and has been owned by several members. The boat has a blue hull and teak decks. The Cheoylee has beautiful lines and is a relatively fast boat. A partial list of projects includes, a good cleaning, lots of sanding and varnishing. She has a diesel engine that hasn’t been run in some time. We have no knowledge of the rigg condition, status of the deck structure, hull or what sails it might have. Depending on the deal, this boat may be required to leave our marina. Price for club members is $2,000.
Yankee Dolphin 24, CF 5799 EE. This is a cute boat and a very well-mannered sailboat, great first boat. This is a Sparkman Stephens’s design. This boat has an outboard motor that has recently been run. We are told that the sails are in decent condition. As with all our boats bring your cleaning supplies and elbow grease. We already have a lot of interest in this boat so don’t move slowly if you think you might want it. Remember no warranties implied. Boat is as is where it is. This boat is welcome to stay in our harbor under new ownership. $5,000 or best offer.
Cal 29, this is a 1969 version of one of the most successful production boats ever built. This boat has an atomic 4 gas engine with many new parts on it. It is estimated to have just 4 hours on the engine since overhaul. This boat, like all the other boats, will require elbow grease and time. You will have to determine the condition of all her major components. Over the years we have had many Cal 29 sailboats in our harbor. Many of them were involved in racing on Wednesday nights. Remember boats are for sale as is and where it is. This boat is welcome to stay in our harbor under new ownership.
Glen L 15 Sailboat
This is a 15 ft wood hull sailboat with a fiberglass coated hull. It is on a trailer in our North dry storage lot. Status of the sails is unknown so you will want to inspect them. Boat appears very solid. But as with all club owned boats this is being sold as is and where it is. You can continue to store it in our dry storage lot for $5.75 per foot of trailer length. There is no motor.
