Membership
Membership in Vallejo Yacht Club is open to anyone interested in boating and related activities. You do not need to be a boat owner to join. The spectrum of member interests includes participating in the VYC learn to sail program, cruising, racing and social activities.
Members with boats frequently include members without boats on impromptu afternoon sails. The VYC harbor is usually buzzing with activities on the weekends and members are always willing to lend a hand and expertise on projects.

Additional Membership Plans:
- Life Members for those that have completed 35 years of service in the Vallejo Yacht Club
- Young Adult and Junior Membership for youngsters and young adults at reduced rates. (inquire with membership chairman)
- College Students for full time students enrolled at higher education colleges and universities at reduced rates
- Honorary – Annual memberships provided at the discretion of the Commodore primarily to city officials who are elected or appointed to office. Inquire with Commodore.
Stop by the club at 485 Mare Island Way as our guest during any Friday evening happy hour or other event and get acquainted. Please introduce yourself to any officer in attendance. We are happy to show you our club, discuss your interests and introduce you to the many benefits of membership in the Historic Vallejo Yacht Club.

This Yacht Club’s success relies on a Membership that is active and positive to move us into the next generations as those for over 100 years before us have. Members are expected to contribute to the club through volunteerism in the following areas:
Grounds and Club Maintenance, Finance & budget, Port, Sail and Power Fleets, Marketing & Publicity, Membership.
