Vallejo Yacht Club, with over 300 members and growing stronger, is a vibrant volunteer organization organized to promote and encourage yachting, sailing, rowing, power boating and related activities. The entire focus of our club mission statement is dedicated to increasing the enjoyment of sailing and boating.
Vallejo Yacht Club was founded in the year 1900 and can trace its’ roots back to 1866! As one of the 6 oldest surviving yacht clubs on the west coast that has reached it’s centennial we have a long and proud heritage that makes us all proud to fly the VYC burgee and carry on the traditions that have kept VYC strong for over 100 years.
Our private harbor and large clubhouse over the water make VYC one of the premier yacht clubs where most members are able to access their boats and their clubhouse at the same location. Recent improvements include a new seawall protecting our recently expanded and dredged private harbor. Our prime location is close to the mouth of the Napa River , Carquinez Straits , San Pablo Bay and near great paddling areas just north of the club on the Napa River. All of these attributes make our club a great place to start any boating adventure.
